This probably relates to my post yesterday. My appologies if it was taken as offensive as none was intended. I thought it was just factual.
Cheers

Thanks guys, thanks a lot and you know who you are.:mad:
The Friday thread was created for some of us to have some fun on Friday. We even gave away useful WW tools to each other. What's wrong with that?
Did I say keep it pure?:mad:Visit my website at www.myFineWoodWork.com

Boundries
G'Day you lot,
Are the 'Boundaries' we have, self imposed by the [General] Majority;
or are the Mods. having to reel some of us in, often?
I am on the ECCA BMW Forum; and it is often WAY over the top.

If I have managed to cause offence to either He's or She's please accept this as my apology.
I enjoy this forum and check it out most days and yes have been known to make comments - mostly I try to be helpful - I appreciate that perhaps sometimes my sense of humour may leave some wondering.
No offence[s] intended.

For ####'s sake what has the world come to that people are apologising for having a sense of humour? We need more of it, not less. Too much serious crap in the world as it is. Watched a show on the ABC last night about "the falling man" - a photograph of a guy who jumped or fell out of one of the towers at the World Trade centre.
We have one of these every 6 months or so. Someone gets their nose out of joint over something and has a whinge about it, either openly or whispered in the ear of a mod. It'll all be forgotten by next week."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

As to moderation, when a thread looses its way, sometimes it is a lot easier and less work to shut the whole thing down, than to weed out the problems. Some here are 'apologising' for their posts, that probably had nothing to do with the thread being closed. There was a lot of mess to clean up, in more than 1 thread, and for different reasons, some minor, some very serious.
End of the day, like it or not, this is a community, and the mods are trying to keep a balance so the vast majority can enjoy being here for whatever they are looking for."Clear, Ease Springs"
