I for one (and I'm sure it is true for the other mods and admins) would be more than happy if we never had to do anything more than just be regular board members, and a vast majority of the time we can. 99% of my posts are as a member, not as a moderator.

It is probably reflects well on how this board is moderated (to put a positive spin on things) that members occasionally do push the limit, because they know we will (try to) not overreact, but will keep walking the fine line. From what some have said, there are other BB out there that are heavily moderated, and there isn't the same sense of community.
