Hi all,

I installed my own dishwasher on the weekend, replacing a broken one (of approx 12 years old), and found that the old one was only connected to hot water.

The new one specified it needed cold water, but could be connected to hot. I am in the process of major renos, including a new kitchen and when the new kitchen is done, cold is going to run to the dishwasher.

My question is, what impact, if any, will hot water have on the dishwasher for the next 3 months?
