Timber Fence - Staining query
Hi All
thought I'd gather the collective knowledge of the more experienced to assist with a query
I've done a search on the forum but can't find anything answering my query....
Just moved to a new house and we are surrounded on three sides by the all conquering timber fence (just the normal wooden palings that you see in most suburban developments now). SWMBO and I were out walking the other week and saw a fence that had been stained. Now of course our fence has to be stained.
The main query is - what's the best (read quickest) method of applying a stain? Fence length is approx 75 - 80 m and 1800 high.
I was thinking of using an air sprayer? but not sure what type of stain would be appropriate for this method ?
Of course the old paintbrush/roller method is available however not my weapon of choice.
Any ideas please?
cheers,
Justin
