    Default Installing new drawer fronts.

What is the best method for lining up & holding the drawer fronts in place before fixing them to the drawers, I had thought of using double sided tape to hold the fronts & then opening the drawer and screwing from the inside or the other method is to drill the holes for the pull handles from the front putting the bottom drawer on first and then spacers & then the drawers above?

    Emgee,
I drill clearance holes in all the drawers (bar the one at the top, if the benchtop is already in place). Remove all but the bottom drawer, clamp face in place, fix with screws. Fit next drawer up, repeat. When you get to the topmost drawer there's nowhere for your clamps to go. Drive two screws through the drawer from the inside with the tips of the screws protruding about 3mm. Position drawer face and hold in place with one hand, give the face a thump with the heel of your hand or a rubber mallet, the screwpoints will mark the back of the face. Drive the screws home - finished.

    Thanks Journeyman Mick,
Sounds good advice I'll try it, & let you know how I go.
