G'day,

This is a rant after several wasted hours I had to go through this morning.

I recieved notification from my domain host that they were upgrading and changing their servers to a new party and this would mean that as of today at 9:00am I would have to change all usernames and passwords to my email accounts etc.

9:00 rolled on and by 10:00 I'd recieved no new emails which was strange considering I was expecting emails from clients. 11:00, still the same. So I rang the mob in q. and was told it was up and runing but not for all their clients. I explained my frustration and immense displeasure as I rely on emails for contact and approvals on jobs with clients. 2 hours roll on and they finally pull their finger out - but not after losing billable hours on which I needed to send some emails for approval on jobs and recieve new jobs via email.

If someone says you have to change things because they are implamenting changes at x time - flamming well do so! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Then chase them a few times to find out why they haven't paid. Perhaps they will pay your invoice or perhaps not. Either way, they will hopefully understand the gravity of your predicament.

Besides, you're going to need all the cash you can get after you suggested that I start charging for flippant comments.....
