Window head flashing
Hi everyone,
I am about to start re cladding (BGC Nuline weatherboards) my house and have also purchased all new sliding windows to install at the same time. I am reasonably confident of the sill and side flashing on the windows but it is the head flashing that I am unsure about. As the house has verandas around most sides do I still need to use a head flashing such as the ones in the diagram from G.James or will the flashing on the reveals be enough? One side of the house will only have protection from the eaves so I will probably need it their but is it common to only use the head flashing on exposed windows but not on others?
Cheers
