    Default Staining to match Jarrah

    Hi guys,

Just after some advice. Just built a coffee table top from recycled jarrah floor boards. Constructed the legs and railings from another species (might be messmate but not sure) which is lighter than jarrah.
Can anyone recommend a stain (including a brand name) I could pick up from bunnings that will make the legs and railings of my table match the jarrah top?

    Thanks.

I am not an expert in wood staining so I can answer your question.

Have you considered not to stain it? Just leave it as is. Timber is more beautiful naturally.

Thanks for the suggestion. You certainly have me thinking now. I have clear polish up come off-cuts of each species and see how the look next to each other.
