The funny thing about the "red flag" is that at one time someone waving a red flag was required by law, in advance before a motor vehicle could be driven on a public road or street.

The way they want to reduce speed limits in Victoria we might as well have a man with a red flag in front to warn all the blind and distracted pedestrians and cyclists that a car is following.
Find someone who can run fast so you can get somewhere perhaps.
