Hi All,

I have a tile roof and i noticed when i was up there the other day that the pointing is starting to crack.

I have googled and searched this forum on how to re bed and point the capping and think i could do it myself, but ran into a friend on the weekend who said to not worry about rebedding the ridge caps and just use the $2 bunnings liquid nails to glue the capping tiles down and point up the cracks before repainting the roof.

What do you guys think about using glue to glue the caps back onto the exsisting bedding? would it last long? any weather issues (heat, rain etc). any other things that might impact??
