Kitchen sinks - not having mixer tap
Not sure if this is just a truly dumb question ... but I've started considering which sink I'm going to get ... but I keep looking at them and can't quite work out what happens if I DON'T have a mixer tap.
I'm likely to get lever taps (not quite decided which ones yet!) of the more old fashioned style. The bench the sink is going into is 700mm wide (normal is 600mm right?) ... so placing the taps/spout on the wall doesn't seem an option ... putting them behind the sink - wont that mean the spout wont quite reach and will cause splashing? (the bench is going to be stainless steel so I think that causes more problems for putting holes in it!).
Everywhere I look ... it seems mixer taps are the only thing sinks are designed for! Am I missing something?!
Thanks!
