Satin floor finish
Hi, can anyone confirm what the best method of applying a Satin polyurethane oil coat to an old Kauri pine floor which has just been sanded right back to bare wood......I am planning to use the Cabots CFP single pack brand and have noticed some threads recomending the 1st coat to be a Gloss with Satin as the next coat.......just wondering how does using the Gloss coat 1st up help and why not just do all required coats as Satin??............also hows does the Watyl 7008 brand compare to Cabots CFP for endurance against wear/scratches??
Cheers
