I am looking at taking out a std doorway (once upon a time it may have had a door there). I am thinking of putting up some fretwork like they used in the old days but not sure where to start. 6 mths ago I found some on ebay but havent seen any since. help appreciated.

My line of thinking is remove the section put in 2 x 90x90 posts (for effect) and cause I havve some (its not load bearing.)
I took the hand plane to them yesterday and I'm amazed at thier colour any takers on the type? The down side is they are 2.1m long in a room 2.7m high. Alternative I do have full lenght Merbau posts if needed but saving these for the pool hut.
