Heat Pump Question
The plumbers I called are using Rheem's heat pump Mpi-325. It has a back up element. It's said the back up element designed to activate only during cold conditions. Does it help if using off peak 1 ?
One plumber said it should connect to standard tariff not the off peak as said in installation instructions inside the package box of the heater.
But what I am thinking is if connect to standard tariff, it won't actually save you money if compare the price to off peak.
Really confused. Do need help here.
