plasterboard behind fireplace question
I have a brick fireplace in the lounge room that backs onto the garage. I am gyprocking the garage and wanted to know whether I can just stick the gyprock onto the bricks with cornice cement or nomore nails like I have done on the other walls or wether the heat from the firplace will damage the gyprock?
I am trying to avoid the expense of building a stud wall butting up against the bricks but will if I have to..
