Pre-fab shower cubicle drainage question
I am looking at installing one of those Pre-fab. shower cubicles, the ones that you basically sit on the floor, screw the flexible pipes to the water pipes, plug the cord for the radio into the wall, stick the drain pipe into the drain hole and shove it into the corner....finished.:U
Question is, the drain hose that comes with them is a flimsy looking corrugated plastic hose about 1.5" diameter, that you are supposed to poke into the drain pipe in the floor. No sealing, nothing.
This does not sound like the kind of thing the Plumbers Board (here in W.A.) would be happy with.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
