Default G'day mate from Epping VIC

    Hello Everyone,

My name is Archie. I'm from Epping Victoria. I'm a newbie and have starting following this forum for a month now and find this site very informative and a good source of advice and feedback on almost any topic under the Australian sun that is related to woodwork.

Also, I've been trying to post a new thread trying to ask for advice, but can seem to do so. So this is also a test for me if I can make a post. Thanks!!!

Happy Easter and Good day to all!

    King regards,
    Archie

    Hi Archie,

You have made a good start by having a look around
for a month and now introducing yourself.

We go to Epping 2-3 times per week as we have two daughters
in that area. Going down tonight to throw a few Easter
    eggs to the kids.

    Regards,

    Allan

Hope to hear from other Eppingites as well!

Yup, finally decided to make an introduction, hoping to be a pro-active member and contributor to the forum, with whatever two-cents worth of knowledge I would have.

Thanks very much for the welcome!

    Cheers!

Welcome Archie. I was like you a year ago. Just starting out, spent a few months reading through these forums and then finally began to post. You'll find this an incredible place with heaps of valuable advice. So don't be afraid to ask away.

So tell us, what type of woodwork stuff are you interested in?

    Hi Folks!

Thanks very much for the warm welcome! It is starting to get a bit cooler down here in Victoria.

So tell us, what type of woodwork stuff are you interested in?
I'm mostly interested in general woodwork stuff. At the moment, I'm taking on this decking project at home, which I've posted ang needing advice and I'm hoping I'd get some replies soon...

Other than that, I hope that in the future I'd be able to do some smaller/minor woodwork such as tables, deck chairs, etc.

I'm sure it'll be a rewarding experience to be a member of this forum!

    Cheers!
    Archie

That's exactly how I caught the bug. Be careful!
