pool deck
looking at building a pool deck. I have ~1.5m around the pool but want some more room.
The issue I have is on a sloping block the post ground height is 1m and 1.6m away from the pool at the distance 1.5 and 2.4m respectively.
Can tou build a deck level with the paving with treated pine then use different timber above?
I have 3m merbau posts 90*90mm and want to use them above deck height how would you do it ?
Is it ok to check the posts over the joist/bearer (240*45mm) with the alignment of the post going vertical to a concrete footing or would you offset the posts by a post width (90mm) on the joist/bearer.
Or should I buy a couple of longer posts?
