Scribing skirting boards
I have to fit some skirting on a wall lined with cedar boards. The boards have a groove where they join and are level. My concern is that the floor is not level and if I fit the skirting on the floor it will run up from one end to the other and stand out like dog's bollocks.
What is the trick to scribing the skirting board and shape it to the floor so that it appears level?
