concrete sump
The change from 80mm to 100mm default sump for pre-mix concrete got me thinking. After listening to the video on the www.concrete.net.au site, I'd have to be nuts to order anything less than 100mm - otherwise the concretor would just add water. Does anybody have any idea why they simply don't just add an additive to increase workability? I mean is it that much more expensive? Got any hard numbers or reasons not to add the stuff?
