Woodworking Quiz;
Good Evening Friends,
I have been away for a spell.
When planning a suspended ceiling and you already have the wall angles up at the desired height.
What is the next step in order to allow for equal size tile or panels around the perimeter of the room?

Hi Ralph. Welcome back.
Good question, but I don't know the answer.
Having 2 of the walls moveable would help.

measure diagonals to check for square, divide room by tile module sizes, halve what's left over to give your border(2 seperate calculations, for length and width of room). This is assuming you're only doing one room that doesn't join with other tiled ceilings, otherwise you might be working from the largest area out to smaller rooms, ie: large central office space with smaller offices on outside of building.

Good Morning Friends,
Good job Mick as you are dead on target on this one. I like your style in determining the different areas.
I have been fighting and still am not out of the woods of a bout of food poisoning. Feeling much better now though.
