    Smile Hi all,,,

I started carving driftwood with a swiss army knife when on holidays on the west coast of Sweden about 6-7 years ago. Each time I visit I carve a simple statue. I have now done about 7 of them the largest about 2 meters high.

Rules are: Must use wood found on the island and the project must be completed within the time i'm there (usually no more than 10 days).

So rough and ready and a lot of fun. Over time I have bought a few more tools and would like to learn more and improve my skills. I am looking for basic intro to carving workshop or courses in the Sydney area where I now live.
