want to build a small work room, should i use metal or wood frame?
i have a metal shed down the back with metal frame measuring 7m x 3.4m wide and i want to extend that shed to add a small work room onto it measuring 3.4m wide and 2.5m long.
the work room i want to be completed insulated and lined and it will have 4 walls and gyprocked interior with airconditioner and a concrete floor. i will have 3 layers on the walls, the interior will be gyprock, then insualtion then the cladding which i will use normal tin like the shed. but the frame still undecided whether metal or wood.
i am planning to remove the end wall of the shed and build this new work room onto the end of the existing shed along with a new concrete slab to extend the old one.
The gabled roof will continue on and be the same height.
Would it be cheaper to build this fully insulated and lined workroom from wood or metal like the shed?
