Ralph, me old mate. You seem to be having a bit of a problem understanding Oz.
I have attached a map that puts us in our proper perspective. You live somewhere in the purple bit down in the bottom left corner.

Hello Robert,
No wonder I am confused, as you have me standing on my head.
Once I turned the map upright, I see you folks are west of the international date line and are ahead of us in time. I see that it is 02:19 in Sydney. I have set a watch to your time so I will know what time it is down there. At this moment it is 12:21 on 3 May 04, here but 4 May down there right?
