new floorboards in extension
hi,
In the last stages of an extension and am about to install the oak floorboards. A few questions:
1. I am currently using yellow tongue for the floor in the new room primarily as a stable work surface. CAn I put the floor boards over the yellow tongue? Is there any advantage/disadvantage in doing this?
2. What insulation should I use under the floor?
3. Does there need to be some space between the edge of the floor boards and the wall frame?
thanks
greg
