G-day from Iowa
I am new to this site and to woodworking in general. It's snowing in Iowa now (& I can't golf for 4 months) so I need something to keep me busy this winter!
I am slowly gathering tools and supplies for doing some small woodworking projects. I am looking forward to all of the information on the site and I'm sure I will have many questions to follow.

Welcome bjketels!
Hi and welcome bj.
There's lots of great information and help when you need it here.
Lots of people (not me) who know what they're talking about.
Have a great time woodworking over the winter.

G'day Brad,
Welcome to a forum where you can find just about anything --even sport. You will find it's a real world wide membership. We even will discuss woodwork. So if you have questions you will get answers. If you want to show your work you will be more than welcome. One small drawback however. Here most of us speak in a language that can be a little different to American at times, but it's not all that hard to learn.

Welcome and enjoy learning. (Can't imagine months of snow ... but then again I don't need a reason to find something else to do other than golf ... ruins a good walk) Ha Ha just jealous that I can't play!
