Hi guys Just a quick question. We will be getting re roofed soon from tiles to colourbond and have a1964 brick tile home. Just wondering what the big ugly pole is on the roof that goes up about 2m and is in line with the toilet. Someone said it is a vent for when the house used to be on septics but we have been on mains now for ages. Anyway its rusty and ugly. Loads of older houses have them but I cant see any new houses with them so there must be something more modern around. What do you...
