trim kickboards ?
Hi, I am putting a floating/overlay floor in the kitchen, wife would like the floor to extend 'underneath' the kickboards. Does anyone know if it is generally ok to trim 15mm off the bottom of the kickboards so the flooring sits underneath them, do kickboards suport the weight of the cabinets themselves or is weight taken on an inner frame? The kitchen is only 4 years old. Failing that I guess I could glue a shorter kickboard on top of the old one to give the same appearance.
