laying services in the same trench
I am in the throws of planning out all the services for my new shed (incoming and outgoing) It is going to be about 20m away from the house (the fall from house to shed is about .5 of a metre) and I would like to be able to provide all the services in one trench. They would be; power (single phase), ethernet, rainwater tank/overflow and return water. Power is pretty self explanatory... as is ethernet. What I'm planning with the rainwater is to have a 5500l tank on the house and a 14500l on the shed. I would like to take the overflow from the house tank to the shed tank (house has a larger roof area but no space for a bigger tank) I would like a pump on the shed tank and a return feed line back to the house to supply water for the laundry and toilets etc ( there is also a toilet in the shed) Is it possible to run all these services in the same trench with the "correct" conduits? and what is the method of plumbing in rain water to exsisting house plumbing. I assume there are check valves needed to keep mains water seperate from the local rain water supply. Can rain water be plumbed in to provide water for bathing too? ie showers , baths etc... Having grown up on a farm with no town water I know its possible to do all this with a pump etc, but I'm wondering how practical it is in a suburban setting?
