Small extension and how to create the floor
Hi guys,
Doing a small extension on our kitchen and just had a question on the floor. The floor at the moment is TnG pine. The extension is going to be roughly 3m x 1m which extends out past the end of the boards, ie, the ends of the boards will all butt up to the wall, rather than a single board running parallel to the wall.
Now, I'm putting the bearer etc up, but was woondering how I fasten the end of the new boards and studs for the wall.
My question is, after having the bearer there, do I put the floorboards right out and over the top of the bearer, then put the studs on top of that?
OR
Do I put the studs on top of the bearer. If so, how/what do I attached the ends of the floorboards to?
Any help appreciated, and thanks in advance.
