removing floorboards
as per a previous thread on noise between me and my neighbour's house, i'm going to take a shot at removing the floorboards.
as they are tongue-in-groove boards, the advice i've received is to run a circular saw along a joint line, to the depth of the tongue, then lever them out with a crowbar.
can anyone confirm that this is reasonable advice? it seems logical enough.
despite being told it would be very rare, i'm convinced the joists pass between the party wall of both properties, as i can feel my floorboards move slightly when the neighbour walks past the adjacent area on his side of the wall.
