Urgent help please - decking and boundaries
Hi all,
I think I have made a fairly big stuff up. I am starting to build a deck in Canberra but was a little confused with the boundary line and setback requirements. I thought I could build out to the boundary line but apparently not. I have a corner block, and the deck is being built on the non-frontage side.
1. How far back does it need to be from the boundary line (which in itself is nearly 5m from the road already)? and
2. Is there any way I can build to the boundary line (ie get special approval etc)
Trying to get the whole thing done ASAP as a surprise
Thanks for the help
Pete
