cutting cornice to pass range hood flue through
Hi - I need to cut an opening in a cornice to pass a range hood flue through. Does anyone have any advice on how best to do this so I end up with a professional looking finish between the cut edge and the flue. eg I am worried that after the job is done there will be an unsightly small gap around the flue - is there an edging available I can use to cover this ?
I have attached a diagram of our corince. The hole I opening I need to cut is 55 mm out from the corner and is 270 x 320 mm
