Best method of painting a turned newel post
Hi All,
I am in the process of refurbing my balustrade, and want to paint the newel posts with an oil-based enamel. Our posts are much like the one in the attached picture.
Will they be difficult to paint with a brush? Should I consider using a HVLP gun to spray them with?
I have a 3Hp compressor, which should cope with a spray gun, and mess from overspray is not an issue at the moment.
Thanks,
Jonty
