Sticking Plasterboard to painted walls
Hi,
We have recently had a wall removed (double brick). We have built a timber frame around the inside of the opening of the wall so we can cover the brick work and lintels with plasterboard. We also would like to clad some of the existing painted walls (brick, with render and plaster) with plasterboard sheets.
Some of these sheets will not have any of the timber frame to fix to. My question is, will it be ok to use cornice cement to stick the plasterboard sheets to the walls? The walls are painted with an acrylic interior paint.
Thanks
