Removing timber panelling
Our lovely 70's home has timber panelling on EVERY internal wall. Most of it we will paint over, but my husband really wants to remove it in the loungeroom. I just pulled a piece off the wall today. The panelling has been glued on and consequently has torn the paper off the plasterboard.
Any advice how to remove the panelling without damaging the plasterboard? Also, is it possible for us to repair the damaged plaster or will it need to be replaced? I think large sections of the paper will come off when removing the panelling.
