recoating floating floor
I realise that floating timber floors are not the purest's cup of tea but has anyone tried recoating one? How do I tell what type of product was used on it initially? I have some planks left over to practise on.

entire floor area needs to be buffed back with a floor polisher with a screen back, then two pack water based polyurthane applied,
the coating will need to be brought from a trade shop that sells floor sanding suppiles.

restoring a floating floor
Thanks for the reply. There are products on the DIY market that say they can be used for floating floors. Any thoughts about these?
Should I be testing the original coating to match it?
