how long between acrylic sealer and tung oil
Hi,
I just sealed a new trap door (140mm hardwood, gaps: between 5-15mm) with Fuller's acrylic sealer (caulk in colours, I think it is called). Full curing time for the sealer is 7 days. How long do I have to wait before applying tung oil on the hardwood.
thanks

If your gaps/calking is 5 to 15mm wide or thick I think you would want to wait the full 7 days at the moment with cooler conditions it will quite likely take at least that long to cure and set before coating it with Tung Oil.

What Claw said. The info on the label will most times be better than what the bloke in the shop says.

Test it?
Follow the labels advise, then test it with your finger to see if it hard, if its not then wait until it is.
Some materials dry from the top down, while others dry from the bottom up.
