Does anyone know a way to search for death records.
Hi, my brother was born in 1985 and them later my mother split up with my dad (I was with my mother). I know his initials and the place where they had gone at a later stage. I also know that he is dead; I need to get information about such databases that can help me to get information of my brother’s birth and death dates.

Since you are in the US why not google births and deaths, I think there is such a website.
If you can do it - Do it! If you can't do it - Try it!
Do both well!

There are a few places that can help you to search the things you require. It will not be difficult to gather the information if you land up on the right database. Deathrecords online has a good database that can help you to dig out the info you need as they have access to millions of death records with many locations to search.
