just learn for yourself mate and as far as paint or lacquer goes ,as a simple golden rule
1.thin nitrocellulose lacquer, sealer ,with thinners including 2pac, ac , pc
2.thin varnish with turps, isopar
3.thin acrylic with water unless it is thinners based
4.tip size of gun 1.8 to 2.0
5.dont spend hundreds on expensive guns a star 770 $100 will do ( we still use them in my factory every day for sealer and odd colours and just chuck them when they wear and buy new ones ) gravity or suction ( personal choice either way ).
6. most guns come with air adjust but as a rule set the commpressor at 3.5 bar ( water trap is a must and bleed daily )
7.dont ramp up the air on the gun as it can lead to dry edges (fingering ) you have to find the balance between air and fluid and the thinness of your product (practice first )
im sorry i cant be of more help but it realy isnt something you can learn by reading a tutorial or watching a movie just practice and it will come good.
