Little Book of Policemen
Haven't had such a good laugh for ages!
Early readers are interesting. One of the first readers I remember was a very early sex education manual.
The first two pages were a a picture of a girl with the caption"This is Susan" and on the other page a picture of a boy with the caption "This is Sam"
The third page simply said "Run Susan,run!"
