Anzac weekend cryptics.
Okay, you guys have had it too easy up til now. Here’s some more difficult
cryptic questions. Remember, they’re all related to stuff found on this forum.
Think laterally and don’t give up, they can be solved, let’s see who is the smartest forumite! Good luck.
1. Initially Wes likes chess blended for slanted cuttings. (4, 7)
2. Slipping interest rate in wartimes offers severance at any angle. (7, 7, 5, 3)
3. Thesis with Dan’s letters enables finishing of several grades. (9)
4. Tropical fruit mixed in stock feed results in hard wood. (8)
5. Meagre fish in framing members. (9)
6. I leave column sounding jaded about sheeting. (12)
7. Court straight-threader for craft enthusiast. (6)
8. Hirsute hopper brands foe of machinery seller (4, 3, 6)
9. Eccentric for wreath leaves wood in chest. (7, 6)
10. Car wreck struck dance party around opening (10)

Gaz, I think you may be needed on this one. Come on folks, you can do better than that.. don't let him have all the glory. Will come back tomorrow and see how things are progressing. Might even give a few clues to help you solve them.
