Water pooling on tiled balcony
I have a small tiled balcony. Whenever it rains, water pools in several areas. Does anyone know of a quick way of fixing this without having to pull up and re-tile?
Unfortunately due to the pooling, water is starting to leak into area below.
Thanks
Andrew

unfortunately there is no quick fix to your problem.
the onlyway to fix is to rip up and redo, and with the water leaking into the area below it seems the waterproof membrane is ruptured/non existing, wich means your only way out of that mess is to rip up re waterproof/retile.

It sounds like you'll need to remove the existing tiles and possibly the bed they were laid on, repair/install the waterproofing system, redo the tile bed with enough fall for poper drainage and re-tile. No easy way out of this sort of problem unfortunately. Good luck.

You might be able to cut a channel down the middle of the balcony with a grinder, line it with a shallow steel tray with enough slope to drain the water away.
But you could do all that and have it still not drain properly, so the safe money is on relaying the base with a decent slope on it.
Some pictures might help?Cheers, Richard
