Stripping Varnished Door
Hi all,
Can anyone give ideas as to how to strip an old varnished door and get it ready to revarnish

I'd be looking at a well-tuned cabinet scraper. If the varnish is flaking the scraper will take it off easy and leave a surface you don't need to sand.
If it's got mouldings, try a combo paint scraper on those and then a flap wheel.
Been down the chemicals route. Lot of work.Cheers, Ern
