    A dog is truly a man's best friend, if you don't believe it, just try this simple experiment.

    Put your dog and your wife in the boot of the car for an hour.

    When you open the boot, who is really happy to see you?
    Don't force it, use a bigger hammer.

    In the police call section of the paper, either Huntington Beach Wave or the Huntington Beach Independent we had the following.

    A caller reported hearing an argument between a man and a woman about 23:30 one evening. The man was seen dragging the woman from the boot of Mercedes Benz and into a near by condominium. The police responded and found that the woman was pregnant and wanted to sleep in the boot of the car.

    Unfortunately there was no mention of man's best friend.
