Saw Milling
Have had a few people express interest in seeing my Lucas Mill in action and therefore I am floating the idea of having a BBQ and showing how the mill works and what can be done with it.
If there is enough interest I'll set up a day for March on either the weekends of 15/16 or 29/30. Will setup a poll to see if there is enough interest first and then will take it from there.Cheers

Due to the lack of interest apart from 2 people, I'll put this off for a while and re float the idea at a later date

Wow. You people do not know what you are missing.
Is it only happening in Queensland or is it we are just catching up and you Mexicans know it all, been there, seen that and not interested in advancing your knowledge.
We all had a great day at Dai Sensai's Woodies B B Que two weeks ago. Weizyboy was the star of the show and I ran a close second with the Pecan pies I bought for desert.
Well, I must admit Bronwyn's ( Fuzzie's better half. ) did produce a mean Pavlova and it might boil down to a "desert off" down the track.
Even a non woodworking neighbour came over to see what all the noise and kerfuffle was about.

It is a surprise that you have more interest from interstaters than locals. After all, I live in Queensland, and I have been lucky enough to see your demo
Come on you shy mexican lot, this is an opportunity to see plenty of saw dust and shavings fly up close, without worrying about neighbours complaining (like mine ).
It was a great offer anyway DJ.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

For the Queenslanders....
We have a Lucas at work (swing saw & slabber) and the boss might* not mind if some of you were to watch from a safe distance.

*That's a big maybe there... I'll ask him tomorrow but don't get you hopes up..
