Old Slate Tiles in Ceiling Space
Hi all,
I was up in the ceiling space and found piles of old, broken slate tiles. Looks like they were left up there when they replaced the roof with corrugated iron. SHould I remove or leave them up there? thoughts? I am concerned they are adding weight unnecessarily to structure (1990's single front terrace in Melbourne with lathen plaster ceiling).
PS also what is best way of cleaning up all dust before placing insulation/ fixing broken plaster keys?
Thanks
Monty
