bamboo fencing finish
I recently installed a bamboo fence 12m x 2.4m high to act as a screen. This was installed in September last year and i applied a single coat of deck oil as a temporary protection. This week i had to get all the black mould off so now its all clean and i want to protect it.
What would be the best form of protection, oil or a yacht varnish.

Bamboo protection
I was advised to use Sikkens Super Natural original (pine #077) transparent varnish.
It's got a yellowish creamy texture but that goes away when you paint.
I applied 2 coats.
I'm very happy with the results. The bamboos have now a vivid gold color, slightly glossy.
Cheers / Matt
