removal of wall help
I also am in need of someone in the SE suburbs of Melb to remove what I believe is a non load bearing wall. We also want the laundry door plugged up and 2 new doors cut into the laundry to allow for the end of our very long laundry to be turned into a pantry.
Im also in 2 minds about the kitchen, I am currently getting a quote from a cabinet maker at the moment, but am also keen on the idea of perhaps giving the kitchen a go myself or with some expert installers help. I think Im after kit kitchen units but am really wanting a solid timber bench tops with freestanding cooker and glass splash backs. L shaped approx 2.7 x 3.5m and perhaps an Island bench.
has anyone done thier kitchen this way? would love to get ideas, tips, hints and recommendations. The yellow pages and google are confusing the hell outta me!!
