repairing plasterboard for tiles?
Hi All,
I have removed tiles from around the perimeter of the bathroom (only 1 tile high) and the bottom of the plasterboard is a little damaged where the old tiles were removed.
I dont want to replace the plasterboard as the rest is all good!
Is it ok to use normal polyfilla type stuff to fill the holes and tidy it up, or would mortar (or something else) be a better option?
I will be retileing with higher tiles so any repair will be covered.
Many thanks,
Scotty.

If you are going to retileand the damage is only small don't do anything just tile over the damage otherwise poly fiila wil be fine, or it might be a good time to make sure it is prperl waterproofed
